Many hours ago, the ogun state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Supritendent Abimbola Oyeyemi, paraded some suspected cultists, armed robbers and those who committed other crimes in the state’s police command.
During the parade, one of the male suspects said, “I was smoking in the toilet with my friend when Police officers barged in and arrested me and my friend.”
Countering the allegation levelled against him, the suspect said, “after I and my friend were arrested, the police officers found no exhibit on us. They only accused me of being a cultist but I am not truly a cultist. I was only smoking indian hemp.”
As it stands, the suspect and others who were paraded are still in custody of law enforcement officers in Ogun state until the aftermath of investigations which would determine their fate.
