Idahosa Calls For Tolerance, Perseverance, Sacrifice, Love

Member Representing Ovia Federal In the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa has enjoined Muslims faithful in Edo state and Nigeria to be steadfast and hopeful of a better Nigeria as they mark the end of the Ramadan period.

The Edo APC Deputy Governorship Candidate in a statement to Muslims, also noted that the period also called for prayers among Nigerians in overcoming the challenges confronting the nation.

He also called for tolerance, perseverance, sacrifice and love which he noted are some of the lessons of the Ramadan period.

Denco as he is popularly called, also called on the privileged class to reach out to the poor in the society for them to have a joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration and beyond.

“I want to use the Eid-el-Fitr occasion to felicitate with Muslims in Edo State and Nigeria at large to congratulate them on the successful completion of the month long Ramadan fast.

“This is period also calls for deep reflection among well—meaning Nigerians to pray for unity of the Country, especially in the face of the daunting economic and security challenge facing the Country,” he stated.

He concluded by urging the Muslims to show love and compassion among others as demonstrated by Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) and work towards the peace and progress of Edo State and Nigeria as they celebrate.
