In 2003, Okadigbo Told Tinubu To Move Forward And Not Be Afraid Even In His Absence — Sam Omatseye

In a post on his Facebook page, Sam Omatseye, a popular Nigerian novelist, alleged that the in 2003, Late Chuba Okadigbo had told the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu that even if he is absent when Tinubu declares his intention to become President of Nigeria he should move forward and don’t be afraid. He stated that Okadigbo fears was that the establishment of this time would not want Tinubu to be President, but Tinubu should move forward and not be afraid even in his absence because he will win.

Omatseye shares this part of history to remind the opponents of the President-elect that Chuba Okadigbo had foreseen their rebellion but assured Tinubu that he will succeed as President of Nigeria. However, Omatseye strongly believes that the words of Late Chuba Okadigbo to Tinubu has made manifest as he won the presidential election.

He said, “Late Chuba Okadigbo to Tinubu in 2003, the establishment might not allow us to Rule Now, but be that as it may, on a very good day, at the appointed time, Tinubu will rule Nigeria. What I do not know, is whether I will be around when that happens. But even if I am not there, (Chuba turned to Tinubu) please ASIWAJU, move on and fear not! The vultures will gather against you, but you know what we stand for. Be strong and continue, for you shall overcome!.”
