The 30 year old Belgian international and former Manchester United star was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI line-up following his outstanding performance for the team in their previous game and he was able to deliver at the peak.
Romelu Lukaku in the game played his part and also contributed his quota as he used his vast experience to pose as a big threat in the opposition box thereby created a couple of chances that got him his team’s only goal in the four-goal thriller.
Goals from Andre Zambo Anguissa Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Gianluca Gaetano gave the Naples the three goals with the visitor netting their only goal from Romelu Lukaku who got his league tally of the season extended to 9.
Romelu Lukaku with his only goal of the game has now been ranked at the 17th spot on the Italian Serie A top scorer chart.
He will as such be hoping to maintain the tempo and momentum going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
