In a video shared by a diaspora media outlet, a lady by the name Jane narrated her life story and how parental curses are affecting her life.
According to her, she was born and raised in a humble background and by an alcoholic father who used to beat her mother every now and then. She said that they used to join her mother in beating the dad whenever he came home drunk and tried to beat their mother.
Their dad used to curse them, saying whatever they were doing to him would one day happen to them and they will pay dearly for disrespecting him. As a result of his father’s words, today they are grown-ups but all her siblings’ lives are miserable including hers. She gave an example with her marriage which is full of wrangles and difficulties. Her life has remained dormant and anything she tries ends up failing.
Jane went on to say that her father and mother also used to insult their father’s parents and in return their grandmother would curse them and their children, saying they will die in poverty. She concluded that the only help they need is for her parents and their grandparents to sit down and solve their differences for their life to make a difference.
