Sarah Collis shared an insight into her unusual home via a video posted to her TikTok channel.

In the video, she shared clips of the enormous school, named Ducktown School, complete with an assembly hall, a gym and lots of classrooms.

The school looked incredibly run down with paint peeling off the walls and broken glass, and in the school yard, there was a creepy rusting play area, including a swing set and a roundabout.

Sarah’s father, Jason Collis purchased the school, which became abandoned in 2006, in 2021, and has been renovating it ever since.

He still has a long way to go, but the house now looks much more liveable, and one of the classrooms has been transformed into a giant bedroom for Sarah..CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>

The bookshelves and desks have been removed, and wood flooring has been put in place.

Sarah has decorated her room with a giant rug, an armchair, a TV and lots of shelves.

Jason previously told ABC that he had gone to the school himself when he was a child and he, along with other members of the community, did not want the abandoned building to turn derelict.

He said the the building had been neglected and vandalised for many years, and he wanted to inject some life back into it.

Sarah, who is from Tennessee, USA , explained that as well as living in the house, her family uses it for holding, events, after school clubs, school reunions and more.

These events are held in the school’s auditorium, which had extreme damage to the roof when he moved in, and has now been restored to it’s former glory.
