I am profoundly delighted and honored by the verdict of the Election Petition Tribunal, which upholds my triumph in the 2023 Kaduna State Governorship Elections.
This ruling unequivocally validates the widespread mandate graciously bestowed upon me by the esteemed people of Kaduna State. I commend the Tribunal for their meticulousness and clarity. They have enhanced our understanding of jurisprudence and the practice of electoral democracy.
I would also like to commend my esteemed colleague, Hon. Isah Ashiru Kudan, for approaching the Tribunal to express his grievances. This serves as a clear testament to his commitment to democratic principles and the importance of civility in the conduct of political figures.
I urge Hon. Isah Ashiru and members of opposition parties in Kaduna State to collaborate with us as we work towards elevating our beloved state to greater heights. We are all stakeholders in PROJECT KADUNA. It transcends personal glory. Our constituents yearn for unity among political actors to tackle the myriad challenges facing our state. By demonstrating our unity, we send a resounding message to our people that our participation in politics is driven by the pursuit of peace, security, progress, and the development of our state.
I implore our party supporters to temper their celebration of this victory. Instead, let us extend an olive branch individually and collectively to our compatriots in other political parties. Rather than reveling, let us join together in prayer to the Almighty for His continued guidance and protection. Our focus should be on the tasks that lie ahead.
