In the summertime transfer window, Jules Koundé might leave Barça. The player has admitted internally, as ‘Relevo’ reported, that he is not happy in his right-back position and that he would be open to offers to leave if there was a fair deal for everyone, which SPORT has been able to confirm.
The coaching staff was taken aback by Koundé’s stance because he has played virtually every position when he has been available, and Barça is not reacting with fright at the new developments. The French centre back is disappointed that Xavi prefers to deploy him as a right-back over a center-back after last weekend’s halftime substitute against Real Sociedad.
