Labour Party’s Kenneth Okonkwo Tells Enugu Obidients Gov Candidate To Vote For

The spokesperson of the Labour Party Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo has distanced the party from the action of some people who claimed obidients in Enugu State have endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Peter Mbah.

He described those championing the rumours as merchants of illicit money and urged the obidient movement in Enugu State to reject them.

Okonkwo in a statement late on Tuesday night also added that the candidate Labour Party is supporting for Saturday’s governorship election in Enugu State is Chijioke Edeoga and urged obidients to ignore any call to vote for another candidate.

Taking to his Twitter account, he shared a picture of those allegedly attempting to mislead LP supporters in Enugu.

He also wrote: “Obidients in Enugu should disregard these merchants of illicit money parading themselves as Obidients yet going against the clear endorsement of Chijioke Edeoga by our principal, Peter Obi. The man shaking hands with Peter Mbah never was with us throughout our campaign. He never met me for one day during the Obidient movement. This tells you how desperate, deceitful and corrupt PDP politicians are by dealing with the factory rejects of the Obidient movement. A new Enugu State requires voting out politicians who corrupt people with money. Vote Chijioke Edeoga for a new Enugu State. We moovee!!!”
