Lawal Blames Politicians, Civil Servants, Bankers For Nigeria’s Current Woes

The Presiding Pastor of Glorious Restoration Church of Christ (GRCC), Ogun State, Paul Lawal, has said that politicians, civil servants and some bankers are the cause of Nigeria’s current economic crises.

The cleric stated this recently at the dedication of GRCC Church Auditorium in Ogun State. He decried the gap between the rich and poor is too wide, saylng there is need to have an all inclusive government and economy.

Urging Nigerians to shun ostentatious lifestyle, Lawal assured the people of God’s intervention if only they would depend on Him for direction.

He said: “What I will tell Nigerians is that they should calm down because change is coming. This is not the time to start a project you cannot complete. This is not the time for ostentatious living. People should scale down things that are not necessary. They should reduce luxury and focus on necessity.”

Lawal also called on the government to make funds available for small business owners to thrive, especially in the face of the current harsh situation.,
