LP Calls For Peter Mbah’s Sack “It Was Confirmed The Forged NYSC Certificate Was Attached To His Form”

The Labour Party (LP) has demanded that the court remove Mr. Peter Mbah, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for governor of Enugu State in the most recent governorship election, on the grounds that Mbah falsified his NYSC Certificate.

The Labour Party went on to say that they had submitted the proof proving that Mr. Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu State, had a fake NYSC certificate attached to his EC9 form.

According to Daily Post, Labour Party made this disclosure in a statement that was signed by Mallam Umar Farouk, the National Secretary of the party. The party made it known that the Tribunal and the appeal court didn’t consider its evidence.

Labour Party said: “Also tendered as evidence from INEC staff was Mbah’s Form EC9 and it was confirmed the said forged NYSC Certificate was attached to his Form EC9.”

Furthermore, the party made it known that the NYSC Director of Certification came to the tribunal and testified that the Enugu State governor was parading a fake NYSC Certificate. The party also noted that even the Director General of the NYSC, during an interview on a national television confirmed that the governor forged hks certificate, yet the Tribunal and the Appeal Court failed the consider the evidence presented before them.

In addition, the Labour Party stated it clearly that the ruling of various election Tribunals and the Appeal Court, against its Governorship Candidate, Chijioke Edeoga and some of its legislators in Enugu State did not reflect the electoral position of the people of Enugu State, thereby urging the supreme court to do the needful by disqualifying Gov Peter Mbah.
