A man had sex with his wife on a bollard in protest after it had been erected by his neighbour to stop him from parking his campervan in her space.
Lee Craig McConnell, 28, consistently parked his vehicle and a campervan in his neighbours’ parking space in Meadow View, Blandford Forum, where he lives
In retaliation, his neighbour was forced to put a bollard in place to prevent McConnell from parking his campervan in her space after it had ‘led to some tension’ and ‘arguments’ between the pair, Dorset Live reported.
Weymouth Magistrates’ Court heard how neighbours living in the relatively small cul-de-sac of 10 houses regularly faced difficulty parking and leaving their respective spaces with their vehicles.
Despite her efforts, Prosecutor Richard Withey saidthe bollard was pushed over and tampered with, which caused the worried neighbour to install CCTV from her bedroom to overlook the area.

However, despite moving the camera onto an external wall and putting up signs warning of CCTV, she still caught McConnell pushing the bollard over on two occasions.
After 11pm on October 26, 2022, CCTV footage captured McConnell gesturing to his wife to come over to the parking bollard and having intercourse with her.
Mr Withey noted that the incident only became known to the neighbour the day after it had happened.
Referring to the CCTV footage, he said: ‘He appears to be talking and she (McConnell’s wife) is wearing some sort of gown, who then walks towards the bollard, goes over the bollard and engages in that (sexual) act. He finishes and walks into the house.’
The bewildered neighbour was left ‘completely disgusted’ by the footage and felt the act was meant to ‘shock and intimidate’ her during their ongoing parking row.
Additionally, before calling his wife over, the 28-year-old was caught facing the camera while masturbating outside the front of his house.
On the same evening of the sexual act, her husband had been taken to hospital.
Mr Withey claimed it was ‘an attempt by the defendant to humiliate her’ and noted McConnell had answered no comment during the police interview.

McConnell pleaded guilty to indecent exposure at the court hearing on Friday afternoon.
Defending, Simon Lacey, said McConnell had been left ’embarrassed’ by his actions and had placed their home for sale in a bid to draw a line under the incident.
He added: ‘The whole thing is a disaster.
‘All they are doing is removing themselves from a very difficult situation. It is sad and this is a man who is trying to bring up a family and work.
‘He is highly embarrassed about what happened. It is a very hard lesson to learn’.
McConnell also expressed concern a copy of the footage still exists and ‘worries’ about what could happen to the video.
Mr Lacey said: ‘He had no idea cameras were there. It wasn’t deliberate and not to humiliate the neighbour. It was clearly inappropriate for something that happened.
‘He has come and pleaded guilty at the very first opportunity. It is fair to say the neighbour was only made aware of it when she was told about it.
The matter was adjourned for a pre-sentence report and McConnell will appear again at the same court on April 27.
He was released on bail but ordered not to contact his neighbour
