Mauricio Pochettino to part ways with Chelsea after 5-0 Defeat to Arsenal

Chelsea is reportedly on the verge of parting ways with manager Mauricio Pochettino, with a successor already chosen by the club.

A recent report has labeled Pochettino a “dead man walking” following Chelsea’s 5-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.

This loss marked Chelsea’s worst performance against Arsenal in the top flight since 1992. As a result, the club’s leadership is taking decisive action, with Pochettino expected to leave Stamford Bridge soon.

Also, there’s speculation about a potential replacement for him, with co-owner Behdad Eghbali reportedly present at the training ground in recent days, as gathered.

Source suggests that Ruben Amorim, who has attracted interest from clubs like Liverpool and West Ham United recently, is willing to discuss the possibility of replacing Pochettino.

Meanwhile, Chelsea had identified Amorim and Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi as potential successors, as reported by the Guardian.
