Following the statement made by All Progressive Congress (APC) member Bashir Ahmad that individuals responsible for the deaths of troops in Delta State should be compensated in their native tongue, social media users have responded in a variety of ways.
He posted this assertion in a message on his official X account. Bashir Ahmad made the announcement in response to CHANNELS TV’s allegation on Saturday that fourteen dead soldiers’ bodies had been found at the Okuama community in the Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to the report, several of the found corpses had been beheaded, and others had had their guts and hearts taken.
In a post that Bashir Ahmad shared on his page, he said that Nigeria must repay the perpetrators with the language that they will understand.
He wrote on his page;
“The Channels TV reported that some of the recovered soldiers’ corpses in Okuoma community were said to have been beheaded, while the stomachs and hearts of others were ripped off. Nigeria must to repay it. Reply the perpetrators with the language they will understand”.
