Mohamed Salah To Have Saudi Arabia Medical; Chelsea Misses Out On Deal For Mohammed Kudus

Salah is due for a Saudi medical
Mohamed Salah is reportedly set to play his farewell match for Liverpool today, according to astonishing reports emerging out of Saudi Arabia this morning, before departing to join Al-Ittihad. According to KSA Sports TV, Salah will play his final game for the Reds against Newcastle today before getting a medical in Dubai. Liverpool apparently has until tomorrow to accept a bid for their talisman that is more expensive than £80 million.

Kudus deal falls through for Chelsea.

Before completing his £38.2 million transfer from Ajax, Mohammed Kudus has agreed to a five-year contract with a one-year extension option with West Ham United, according to The Athletic. The 23-year-old offensive midfielder took a Saturday flight to London to undergo a physical with the Premier League team, and his transfer is expected to be official by Monday. A 10% sell-on clause will also be a part of the agreement. The Ghanaian international was courted by Chelsea, but he is now expected to sign with the Hammers.

Amrabat is improved for United.
Manchester United’s efforts to sign Sofyan Amrabat have gained momentum. According to Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina is now willing to allow the midfielder go on loan with a purchase option. The Moroccan star was previously targeted by Fiorentina for up to £25.7 million (€30 million). However, given their restricted resources, United could agree to a loan agreement instead of buying him this summer.

Tuchel discusses the potential of Pavard.
Benjamin Pavard’s absence against Augsburg was owing to transfer rumors, according to Thomas Tuchel, who also explained it.

He stated in a DAZN interview that “He has some troubles therefore he’s not with the squad – we realize Benji wants to join Inter but there’s not only one option to consider to finalize a deal.

The former Chelsea manager continued, “We need to find a replacement or it won’t happen.”
