Murder: Former Street Kid Sentenced to 134 Years In Jail

The High Court has ordered a former street kid who murdered five girlfriends including his three month old baby to serve a 134-year jail term.

He committed the serial murders in 2021 in Nakulabye and Kasubi suburbs of Kampala City by decapitating them and burning their remains before disposing them

Musa Musasizi who is now 25 year old s been sentenced by justice Margret Mutonyi who had convicted him of all the said murders in July this year.

While sentencing him, she ruled that Musasizi, must be kept away from all girl children including his six year old child as away of protecting them.

She further ruled that Musasizi was a menance to society and he needed to be kept way as a deterrent to commit similar capital offences and that he deserved no mercy since he murdered hi victims in a barbaric manner.

She described him as a loose killer who had no respect for the sanctity of life and betrayed the trust of innocent women, and evil since he murdered some after making love to them and that he committed all the murders in his right sense of mind.

Court also jailed a one Kassaga Abdul, a bodaboda rider who was convicted of being an accessory after court convicted him of helping Musasizi to transport one of the victim’s Mackline Ahereza to a dumping site Kitooro zone in Nateere after he strangled her to death and set her body on fire using paraffin.

The victim is said to have met her death after he asked the convict for 50,000 to set up a business.

Other victims are Violet Kansiime and her three months old baby Abigail Nakitende whom the convict had picked from from her aunt’s place in Makerere to take to his home to care for them but later murdered them by t strangulation.

He then wrapped their bodies in curtains and carried them near Nankulabye police and set them on fire as away of hiding evidence, Nourine Nabirye and Elizabeth Muteesi were also burnt to death by the convict.
