My date told his family about me after less than a week – he showed me I really dodged a bullet when I broke things off

A DATE has gone wrong leading to a break-up — making it even worse.

She said that after feeling it was time to call it quits, her former beau’s actions put the nail in the coffin.

Redditor Localaliens shared the unsavory exchange in a post to the social media platform.

“I suppose I dodged a bullet,” she said.

“And I started getting a gut feeling that something was wrong, always trust your gut.

Localaliens posted a screenshot of her actual text to him, breaking things off.

She said that she wasn’t sure she could give him what he needs.

She also expressed anxiety at even sending the message, saying she was worried about his response.

The ex flame replied with vulgarities, calling her names like “fat.”

“Thanks for wasting my time,” he said. “You’re just like the rest.”

Other Redditors jumped in on the exchange in the comment section of the post.

I met the love of my life on dating app at 78 but I can’t bring her to the UK… I’m selling my ORGANS to make it happen Wow he showed his true colors. I’m glad you trusted your instincts,” one wrote.

“I’m sorry he was so rude in his response when you were perfectly kind about it.”

“Yeah, sounds like he was definitely rushing it and probably does that a lot,” another added.

“You made the right move it seems, especially based on his s****y response.

“Crazy about you despite just meeting you basically but when you pump the brakes because he’s moving too fast, out come the insults.

“You definitely dodged a bullet.”

“Good for you for following your gut,” a third Redditor commented on the thread.

“In the future, don’t feel like you have to explain yourself to them. You don’t owe them anything.

“Tell them that you can’t/don’t want to go out and move on.
