Troops Eliminate Four ISWAP Logistics Couriers in Coordinated Ambushes Across Borno State
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have eliminated four logistics couriers linked to Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) during a series of coordinated ambush operations in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
Military sources told Zagazola Makama on Monday, that the operations were part of Operation Desert Sanity IV/Diligent Search, targeting key terrorist supply routes within the region.
The troops reportedly executed three separate ambushes on October 25, 2025, at different terrorist crossing points around Kuka Uku, Delta Company Kawuri, and Alou Dam, all within the Konduga axis.
“At about 11:35 a.m., troops of 222 Battalion conducted an ambush at Kuka Uku crossing point near Delta Company Kawuri, where one terrorist logistics supplier was neutralised,” one source said.
Another ambush team positioned ahead of Charlie Company in Konduga also neutralised one more terrorist logistics courier.
“In a separate operation, an ambush team lying in wait at a crossing point in Alpha Company, Alou Dam, neutralised two additional terrorist logistics suppliers,” the source added.
The coordinated operations were executed without any casualties among the troops. The four neutralised suspects were confirmed to be members of Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) and ISWAP.
Military sources noted that the security situation in the area remains calm but unpredictable, as troops continue to maintain high morale and combat readiness.
They added that the latest ambushes form part of ongoing clearance and interdiction efforts aimed at disrupting terrorist supply lines and restricting their movement within the North-East theatre of operations.
