Nigeria’s two poorest players in the first half of the game

In their World Cup qualifying match against Zimbabwe this afternoon, the Super Eagles of Nigeria gave up a regrettable goal in the first half of the match. Walter Musona scored the goal in the 26th minute to make it 1-0 after a well-executed free kick.

Let’s now examine Nigeria’s two worst players from the first half of the game:

Francis Uzoho.

The Super Eagles should consider getting another goalkeeper because Francis Uzoho has proven countless times to be unable of being the team’s no 1 shot stopper, and we got to see that in his disappointing first half display as he let an easy shot sail past him and enter into his net.

Alex Iwobi.

There was no creativity from the Premier League star in the first half as he failed to link up with the attackers to create a goal scoring chance for the Super Eagles. The midfield was completely ineffective and needs to be changed in the second half.
