No Administration Is Ever Worst Than Buhari Administration, Gov Ortom Speaks

According to VanguardNews, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom said over the weekend that the past eight years would be remembered by all as the worst in Nigeria’s history.

He said it was a time when a country prospering under then-President Goodluck Jonathan had plunged into unimaginable poverty, insecurity, and widespread maladministration.

He claimed that Nigerians have never seen such poor governance in the country’s history as they have in the past eight years.

The governor, who claimed the commissioning of the Benue State Community Volunteer Guards (BSCVGs) headquarters in Makurdi, said the government led by President Muhammadu had taken Nigeria from top to bottom and made life miserable for all Nigerians.

I served under the administration of then-President Goodluck Jonathan and we all saw Nigeria prosper under that administration.

We all knew what the prices of food and services were at that time.

We also know what our exchange rate was then and what it is today.

I want Nigerians to make a simple comparison and you will see how bad it was under this government and how Nigeria was pushed back several years by the Buhari government.

The fact is that we have never seen such poor governance in the country in the history of Nigeria.

Corruption is so rampant in this government that people who steal chickens are thrown in jail, while people in government who are busy stealing the people’s wealth are at large.

Recently apologized to Nigerians; We accept the apology but he needs to be told that he has failed miserably and Nigerians are feeling the effects of that failure because we are all suffering.

The governor, who also berated President Buhari for refusing, armed Fulani herdsmen to disarm, and branded them a terrorist organization for orchestrating the killings in the country, saying.

The President has told us he’s retiring to tend to his cattle because he’s coming back, a herdsman that he failed to deal decisively with the shepherds? That was unfair to the Nigerians.
