Obi to Nigerians ahead of Tinubu’s inauguration: Remain calm and law abiding

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party was said to have send message to all Nigerians as Bola Tinubu is about to be inaugurated as the new President of Nigeria. The inauguration will be taking place on Monday, the 29th day of February, 2023.

Peter Obi is currently challenging Bola Tinubu’ s victory in court as he refused to accept his victory. He’ s in court to claim what he called his stolen mandate.

However, according to reports made available, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’ s (LP) nominee for president in the general election of 2023, has urged Nigerians to maintain peace and follow the law.

According to DAILY POST, Obi’ s call came just 24 hours before Bola Tinubu, the president- elect, is sworn in.

The LP flagbearer asserts that only a court of law will ultimately determine who won the election. Additionally, he urged Nigerians to contribute to the growth and development of their nation.

The country’ s unity, peace, and security are more important than any other interest, according to Obi, who is reported to have made this statement at a gathering in Kaduna State.

” We must continue to live on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, and coexistence; for the time being, that’ s what matters most, ” he stated.

” Let’ s have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where the government focuses on alleviating people’ s sufferings. ”

Despite the problems with the most recent general elections, he stated, Nigerians must cooperate peacefully to address the common problems of insecurity, poverty, education, and other crucial facets of the country’ s existence.

Senator Datti Baba- Ahmed, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, also spoke at the event. She urged the incoming government to address the high rates of youth unemployment, poverty, and insecurity, particularly in the Northern region, noting that those were the very important issues that required urgent attention.
