The Super Eagles are preparing for their final AFCON qualifier match against Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday the 10th of September 2023 and a lot of interests have gone into the game.

In the last game against Guinea-Bissau, the Super Eagles had to suffer a scare in the final minutes of the game after being 2-1 up until late in the game when Guinea-Bissau equalized.

Francis Uzoho; Ola Aina, William Ekong, Calvin Bassey; Jamilu Collins; Frank Onyeka, Joe Ayodele-Aribo, Raphael Onyedika; Samuel Chukwueze, Gift Orban, Moses Simon.
Although missing the game against Guinea-Bissau, Uzoho should mount the post, he will be suitable for the match.
Defense
Ola Aina has always being a creative spark as well as a strong force at the right back, he will be key for the Super Eagles.
Troost-Ekong and Calvin Bassey are two strong Centre backs, they are qualified enough to man the defense of the Super Eagles.
Complementing them will be Jamilu Collins, his contribution will be key to the Super Eagles.
Midfield
Having Frank Onyeka at the Defensive midfield role will give ability to Aribo and Raphael Onyedika to create more chances for the Super Eagles.
Strike
The speed of both Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon will come in handy. Their abilities to easily dribble past defenses will give Sao Tome and Principe trouble at the back
Gift Orban should be given a chance to function to see what he can bring to the team.
