Nyesom Wike, a former governor of Rivers State and a current minister for the Federal Capital Territory, has requested that the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, suspend Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential nominee.
Additionally, Sule Lamido and Aminu Tambuwal should be expelled from the main opposition party, according to the minister and PDP president.
Wike claimed during a Channels Television interview that the G5 as a whole should be praised for their efforts in promoting justice, equity, and fairness inside the party.
I’m asking on the party’s National Working Committee to suspend Aminu Tambuwal and Sule Lamido, as well as the party’s presidential candidate, immediately, he added.
When asked if he was not fighting against the will of the party, Wike added that the party was fighting against Nigerians.
