Otunba Femi Fani-kayode, a former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, has accused Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, of being the “biggest scammer” in Nigerian politics.
Reacting to claims made by Reno Omokri, Fani-kayode alleged that Obi failed to build even a single school or creche during his eight-year tenure as Anambra State Governor. Instead, he claimed that Obi built a beer parlor.
“8 years as Governor & you did not build one school or creche? Instead you built a beer parlour,” Fani-kayode wrote on his social media handle. “What type of creature are you?”
Fani-kayode commended Omokri for exposing Obi’s alleged fraud, adding that he was “shuddering” to think that 6 million people had voted for him.
Recall that Omokri had challenged Obi’s supporters to name a specific school built by Obi in Anambra. In response, Obi reportedly stated that he had not promised to build new schools but to renovate existing ones. CONTINUE READING
