The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly has strongly criticized the actions of former Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, describing a plenary session he presided over as a “show of shame.”
Speaking to reporters after the hearing of a lawsuit filed by 29 lawmakers at the Ikeja court, the Speaker expressed disapproval of Obasa’s conduct.
The embattled former Speaker has been at the center of controversy following his removal from office.
