Ahead of the 2023 elections, politicians have allegedly started trying to lobby some Christians over accepting APC Muslim- Muslim tickets, according to Senior Pastor of the Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Pastor Adewale Giwa.
The governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has pleaded with Christians to look past religion and focus on the qualifications of the presidential candidate, even when the scandals involving the same faith ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2023 general elections have not yet been fully resolved.
Politicians Try To Lobby PFN, CAN, Other Christian Groups Over Accepting APC Muslim- Muslim Ticket- Pastor Giwa Reveals
According to the Daily Post, Pastor Adewale Giwa, Senior Pastor of the Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, said that politicians had begun taking steps to bribe some Christians in advance of the 2023 elections.
The decision, according to the pastor, was made to give Christian organizations the opportunity to reconsider their views about supporting the same faith ticket.
When discussing the 2023 elections, Giwa said this on Tuesday in Akure, the state’ s capital.
He did, however, admit that the tactic is hopeless because Nigerians have already decided who they will vote for in 2023.
