Political Shake-Up: Former PDP Legal Adviser Enoidem Joins APC, Welcomed by Udom and Akpabio

Akwa Ibom State governor Umo Eno and the Senate President Godswill Akpabio have welcomed a former National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Emmanuel Enoidem, SAN, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Enoidem, who lost to Senate President Godswill Akpabio in the 2023 Akwa Ibom North-East senatorial election, formally joined the APC in January 2026.

Prior to his tenure as PDP Legal Adviser, Enoidem served for eight years as a commissioner under Senator Akpabio’s administration when he was Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

During a grand reception held in his honor at the Etim Ekpo Sports Stadium, his hometown, Enoidem urged the current Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, to also bring his predecessor, Udom Emmanuel, into the APC.
