Premier League Table After Arsenal Won 2-0 and Man City Won 4-1

Arsenal 2-0 Luton

From the very first minute of the first half, Zinchenko and Smith Rowe both had early half-chances blocked by the desperate Luton defense, but the visitors were powerless to stop Arsenal from cutting through them on 24 minutes when Odegaard scored. Smith Rowe and Havertz both forced close-range saves from Kaminski as Arsenal turned the screw, eventually getting their second goal via Hashioka deflecting Trossard’s cutback into his own net.

Arsenal lost their bite in the second half and was unable to score more after heavy substitutions.

Man City 4-1 Aston Villa

Man City beat Aston Villa comfortably, with Phil Foden at the center of it all. He scored a hat trick to help with the crucial win for Manchester City.

According to Opta, Phil Foden is now the fifth player to reach 20+ goals and 10+ assists while playing for a side in Europe’s big five leagues this season (all competitions), with four of those five being English players (Kane, Bellingham, Watkins, and Foden).
