President Tinubu Reportedly Orders Highest Military Red Alert in Nigeria’s History

In response to a wave of d3adly attacks and kidnappings across Borno, Kebbi, and Kwara states, President Bola Tinubu has placed Nigerian troops on the highest-ever red alert in history and ordered the immediate rescue of 24 abducted schoolgirls in Kebbi.

In Borno State a senior Army officer, Brigadier-General Musa Uba, was killed by terrorists while on active duty.

In Kebbi State, 24 students from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Danko/Wasagu LGA, were abducted by armed bandits and they are still missing.

In Kwara State, gunmen attacked a church in Eruku, killing five worshippers and abducting several others.
