President Tinubu Shares Photos Of His Meeting With The 36 States Governors As He Calls For Unity

It was reported that the newly sworn-in President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was said to have had his first executive meeting with the Governors of the 36 States in Aso Rock Villa yesterday 6th of May, 2023 to discuss the issues surrounding the increase in the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) as a result of the subsidy removal.

A few hours ago the President took to his official Facebook page to share photos of his meeting with all the leaders of the various States as he urges them to corporate and be in unity with the States and the Federal government.

According to the commander-in-chief who seems delighted said “Earlier today at the state house I had the honor of meeting with the governors of all the states of our country led by the chairman of the Nigerian governor’s forum governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state.

“At the meeting, I urged unity and cooperation between the States and the Federal government. It is my belief that to conquer our nation’s long-standing challenges such as poverty and underdevelopment, we must collaborate as occupants of one great house for the progress and well-being of our nation “.
