Popular Nigerian pastor Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, known as Prophet Odumeje, has returned to Nigeria to address the declining value of the naira.
Odumeje, who had been in Europe for over a week, arrived at the airport to a warm reception from his fans. While greeting them, he spoke about his spiritual powers, including “Abido Shaker,” “Gandusa Gandusa,” “Danish Kabash,” and “sanctum sanitarium.”
Odumeje claimed to have used these powers to strengthen the naira in the past, but admitted that it had weakened during his absence. He stated that he had now returned to complete his work.
Despite recent gains, the naira has experienced a recent decline, trading between 1,200 and 1,400 naira.
Odumeje’s announcement has sparked mixed reactions, with some expressing skepticism and others holding out hope that his spiritual abilities will stabilize the currency.
