Reactions to INEC’s criticism by the Appeal Court

The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has been charged with partisanship during the 2023 elections by the Appeal Court in Abuja.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, should quit dancing in the market while pretending that no one is witnessing its nudeness and dancing moves, the court stated in a report released by VANGUARD.

The Court, while delivering judgment in a Bauchi State House of Assembly election appeal, said that the electoral body should stop behaving irresponsibly and know that Its duty is to conduct free, fair and credible elections.

Vanguard quoted the court as saying, “INEC should stop dancing naked in the market, pretending that no one is seeing its nakedness and its dancing steps”.

However, after the report surfaced online, there were several reactions from social media users.
