Reactions to Onanuga’s Statement That INEC, Tinubu, or the Judiciary Are Not to Blame for the PDP’s Failure

Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, believes that neither President Bola Ahmed Tinubu nor the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should be held accountable for the PDP’s defeats in Plateau State.

He said this in reaction to the recent Appeal Court decision that removed Plateau State Governor Caleb Muftwang.

“Blame the PDP for the electoral setback, not the APC, the judiciary, INEC, and President Tinubu,” states a portion of his tweet.The election of Abba Yusuf as governor of Kano was void due to his noncompliance with both the electoral law and the constitution. Individuals who are upset with the decision and blame the judiciary must to face the facts. The law was the reason Yusuf was fired. I think that everyone wants the rule of law to govern our nation.
