Social media users have responded in a variety of ways to images that appeared online showing Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2023, lifting a trophy.
In a post on his website on Friday, Atiku Abubakar claimed to have lifted the trophy following the conclusion of a football match held in his honor.
In the pictures that he shared on his verified Twitter page, he could be seen lifting the trophy while some people cheered him.
After sharing the pictures, he wrote “What an exciting game it was in my honour”.
