Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker from Kaduna and current PDP member, responded to the NPC’s N800 billion National Census budget.
It is more likely that the Commission is still unprepared to hold a census this year, as reported by DAILY TRUST, given that the NPC allocated N800 billion for the National Census and that N200 billion of that amount has already been spent.
The report proceeded to state that the exercise was supposed to have been carried out in 2016 and in 2022 before it was postponed to 2023.
The report has however been generating lots of comments from many Nigerians.
