Sani Responds After CDS Musa stated. “Nigerians Shouldn’t Exercise Fear About A Coup D’etat In Nigeria”

Former lawmaker from Kaduna and PDP member Shehu Sani arrived after Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa stated that Nigerians shouldn’t be afraid of a coup d’état occurring in their nation.

The statement was part of a report that CHANNELS TV released.

When the CDS assured Nigerians, he was talking about some African nations that had recently seen coups.

CDS Musa stated that the Armed Forces of Nigeria is dedicated to standing by democracy so Nigerians should not exercise fear on the possibility of a Coup.

CHANNELS TELEVISION quoted Christopher Musa as saying “We want Nigerians to be assured that the Armed Forces of Nigeria is here for them, we are here to protect them; we are here to protect democracy and ensure that democracy thrives.They should exercise no fear; we have had a number of coups in countries around Nigeria – we had Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger”.

Reacting to the statement of the CDS, Shehu Sani said that it is OK.
