‘Saudi Arabia For First Time Said We Will Recognize State Of Israel & Sign Abraham Accords

Documentalist and public affairs analyst Haruna Warkani claims that Saudi Arabia consented to sign the Abraham Accords and acknowledge the State of Israel.

In an interview with Daily Trust TV, Warkani discussed finding a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He clarified further that the two-state solution, which has been decided upon and approved by the UN, is acknowledged in the accords.
The two-state solution refers to the idea that Israel and Palestine should exist as separate, independent states, with defined territories, living side by side in peace.

In Warkani’s words: “States have the right to exist and exercise some sovereignty over their matters and that is why Saudi Arabia for the first time said we will recognize the state of Israel and sign the Abraham Accords.

“Now under the context of that accord will be the recognition of the two-state solution which is determined and endorsed by the United Nations. The agreed locations of Gaza, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank are clearly stated and explained in the United Nations charter that has demarcated these areas for the peaceful existence of the state of Israel and Palestine. Now any other solution outside of this has proven to be very difficult to implement”.
