I have been hearing and seeing news about the naira performance against dollars of recent.
So, I still couldn’t understand it well. I just went to use 200 naira to get garri and groundnut to eat unfortunately I bought a cup of garri for 120 naira and groundnut for 50 naira. Now, I have a balance of 30 naira and the 30 naira can’t buy anything to support my ministry.
I haven’t soaked it yet. I believe Nigeria will be great again. I pray for our leaders.
Is this the effect of the naira performance or Nigerians refusing to cut down prices?
REACTIONS……..
– Seems garri is cheaper over there.
A rubber is N1500 here; cup is N150.
This year will be the last time I’ll ever use my money to buy garri again as I’ve already converted about 3 plots from my land to cassava and cocoyam plantation.
