Senator Shehu Sani responds to Tinubu’s plea for Nigerian youths and multinational corporations to stay

Former senator, dramatist, and human rights activist from Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, implored Nigerian youths and multinational corporations to stay in the country. This prompted Tinubu to respond on social media.

You may remember that on Thursday, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu pleaded with foreign corporations doing business in Nigeria not to depart during a speech to a visiting delegation of Shell Group management, led by the company’s global integrated gas and upstream director, Ms. Zoe Yujnovich, at the State House in Abuja. He declared that his administration was committed to getting rid of any obstacles preventing their firm from operating smoothly.

After seeing the President begging Nigerian youth and Multinational companies not to leave, Senator Shehu Sani tweeted: “The President is begging the Youth not to leave the country. The president is begging the Multinational companies to stay in the country. Please listen to the president and stay; the miracle is on the way.”
