Senators from the PDP Act to End the Party Crisis

Senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have moved to address the crisis rocking the party.

The PDP Senate caucus convened an emergency meeting on Thursday which lasted over three hours.

The meeting was presided over by Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro.

Briefing journalists after the meeting, Senator Moro revealed that an expanded committee comprising former PDP governors and prominent leaders has been established. This committee’s primary objective, he said, is to engage with disgruntled members, identify areas of concern, and facilitate a peaceful resolution.
