Shehu Sani Reacts After Ghanaian President Says West Africa Will Miss Buhari For Bringing Peace

Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central, has taken on his verified Twitter page to react to the comment made by the Ghanaian president that West Africa will miss President Muhammadu Buhari for bringing peace.

Recall that Ghanaian President Akufo Addo who spoke as a guest at last week’s launch of two books on President Buhari who is preparing to leave office for the next president said West Africa, Africa, and even the world will miss Buhari for bringing peace.

While reacting to this, the outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter, some minutes ago, to list objectionable statistics of the Buhari-era relative to deaths, displacements, and abductions to buttress his point that it was not for Ghanaian President, Akufo Addo to tell whether or not President Muhammadu Buhari will be miss.

According to Shehu Sani, he said during the era of the eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari, 63,000 people were slaughtered, 3.6 million were displaced, 11,536 schools closed, and tens of thousands were abducted for ransoms.

However, Shehu Sani concluded his statement by saying Nigeria’s tragedies should not be the wish of Ghana.

In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:

“We have over 63 thousand people slaughtered,3.6 million displaced,11,536 schools closed, tens of thousands kidnapped for ransoms, and Ghanaian President Akufo Addo is saying West Africa will miss President Buhari for bringing peace. Our tragedies should not be the wish of Ghana.”
