Fast forward to 2024, the 70-year-old woman in a trending video on social media cried out over her deteriorating health, which includes hypertension, without any support from her son.

She explained that Shatta Wale has neglected her for more than ten years without having knowledge of her whereabouts.

Elsie, who disclosed that she is currently in the care of her sister and niece, Sharita Aheteku, following her health challenge, however, appealed to the public for financial help.

“My name is Elsie Evelyn Avemegah. I am the biological mother of Shatta Wale. I haven’t spoken with my son for about 10 or more years now. He doesn’t know where I live and what I eat but now my health is dropping and I’m seriously healed.”
