Sirika hires the elite NAPA/Guards Polo Club

The former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika has commissioned the newly built NAPA/Guards Polo Club House at the Nigerian Army Polo Resort in Abuja.

The club house was constructed by Lubrik Construction Company(LCC) for NAPA/Guards Polo Club as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at a whopping cost of N500m.

Sirika alongside top officials and dignitaries commissioned the state of the art facilities on Tuesday evening and declared it open for public use.

According to the minister, “I’m really excited, delighted , happy to have a facility like this .And for me, who I spend most of my time here , it means I’m not going anywhere else. Because I’ve got a lounge where I can relax, I’ve got food to eat, nice ones, I’ve got music to listen to and I’ve got everything I want”

“There’s open air, there’s indoor ,there’s the exclusive part. This is the best that you can have and it can be compared with any facility in the world. This facility will take the club to a higher level.”

Speaking in the same vein, General Naka thanked the chairman of the Nigerian Polo Resort, Alhaji Nasrudano for making it possible we had a club house but it was a little structure but he was able to bring investor to develop and built the edifice.

“We are thankful to him. This is a place we hold in great esteem for members of the club. And we will do everything to make sure that it’s not just opening a new place but it’s functional and we will maintain the standard.

“This is a resort center –we have the archery club, there’s football, basketball and other sports in this facility,” he said.

Hon Nasiru Danu who is member NAPA board of trustees and chairman Nigerian Army Polo Resort commended the facility and promised that it will be well used.

It wil be recalled that Hadi Sirika was a former Aviation Minister, is a +2 goaler and captain of Rubicon and he has led them to win several laurels in the past including the prestigious Georgian Cup in Kaduna.…… Continue Your Reading
