Popular Nigerian travel content creator, Pelumi Nubi, driving from London to Lagos, shared a distressing update on her Instagram account on Tuesday of her involvement in an accident.
She posted a photo revealing her wrecked car, its front severely twisted and windscreen shattered.
Nubi, travelling in a customised purple Peugeot 107 equipped for sleeping and dining, was seen in a video being transported in an ambulance, prompting her followers to offer prayers.
Details about the accident’s location and cause remain unclear.
Nubi, who embarked on her solo journey from London to Lagos in January, initially planned to reach Lagos by March 23. However, border complications led to rescheduling, with Nubi encountering denial of entry at Sierra Leone and Liberia borders.
She captioned the post: “Say a prayer for me”.
