Omoyele Stephen Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 election, responded to questions about why he refused to join the Labour Party (LP) in his bid to establish a new Nigeria.
On Thursday, a Twitter user asked Sowore why he wouldn’t want to set up shop with a “big” party like the Labour Party. Sowore answered.
The Twitter user wrote “I will like to know exactly why you don’t want to pitch tent with a ‘big’ party like the LP in your quest to lead a new Nigeria”.
Reacting to the question, Sowore stated that no one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl.
He wrote on his page ” No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house”.
