The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has replied a member of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign council, FS Yusuf for accusing him of neglecting a genocidal threat that was made against the Igbos by a Twitter user.
While replying him, the Lagos State police spokesperson made it known to him that he refused to touch on that part because CSP Muyiwa Adejobi has already coordinated with the Osun State police command to look into the matter, since the man who made the statement resides in Osun State.
Mr Hundeyin made this disclosure in a tweet he made on his twitter handle, noting that the man’s utterances remains condemnable.
A certain Twitter user with the user name @GideonAdekusibe made a certain tweet ba fee days ago, noting that he hates the Igbos and that they should be flushed out of Yoruba lands. With the his particular statement that was made by the police spokesperson, it seems that something is being done about it. The man should be arrested and punished accordingly, so as to teach others lesson.
