The supreme court, today has reportedly affirmed the decision of the lower court regarding the suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP seeking to disqualify Tinubu and Shettima on double nomination, according to the verified social media handle of one of the spokesperson of the presidential campaign council of the APC, Bayo Onanuga.
According to Bayo Onanuga, he noted on his page that the judge who read the judgement, being Justice Adamu Jauro revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Acted as a busybody by meddling with the affairs of the APC.
The judge who made such statement, according to Bayo Onanuga noted that it what took place in the APC, is an internal affair, and that the main opposition PDP does not have the locus standi to institute the case.
Justice Jauro reportedly revealed that it indeed has no merit, adding that such case amounts to misleading the court.
He said… “The PDP acted as meddlesome Interloper and a busy body as it is an internal affair of the APC”
Recall that the lower court had dismissed the suit which one of the parties, being the PDP filed challenging Tinubu and Shettima on the basis of double nomination.
