The Hidden Message Behind Brigadier-General Braimah’s Death – Peter Obi Explains

Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has described the death of Brigadier-General Oseni Braimah, who was killed alongside other army personnel in a Boko Haram attack at Benisheikh, as unfortunate.

He, however, added that the deaths serve as a reminder to reflect on the value of Nigeria as a country, and the value it places on the lives of its citizens.

Obi, in a post via his account on Friday, called for an urgent strengthening of the nation’s collective resolve to safeguard its citizens, including the security forces who stand in defence of the country.

The former Anambra State Governor, in his reaction, also prayed that God would grant the families of the victims the strength to bear the loss.

“The moment I heard of the killing of yet another soldier, Brigadier-General O. Braimah, who was killed alongside other army personnel in a Boko Haram attack at Benisheikh, I was quickly reminded of what other countries commit to when it comes to rescuing their endangered soldiers on the battlefield.

“Such unfortunate incidents serve as a clarion call for all of us to reflect more deeply on the value we place on the lives of all citizens, including those who stand in defence of our nation, and on the urgent need to strengthen our collective resolve in safeguarding them.

“May God grant his dear wife, the families of all the fallen soldiers, and indeed all those who lost their lives in the incident, the fortitude to bear this painful loss. May their souls rest in peace, in honour of their supreme sacrifice for the nation,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has declared that reports claiming that terrorists killed 17 soldiers, including a Brigade Commander, during a recent attack at Benisheikh, Borno State, are false.

The Army also lamented that there are several false, misleading and highly exaggerated reports across some television stations and social media platforms regarding the incident.

The Media Information Officer, Headquarters Joint Task Force. (North East) Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, who gave the update in a statement on Friday, clarified that 2 officers and 2 soldiers lost their lives during the incident.

He also dismissed the insinuation that the Brigade Commander’s vehicle was unserviceable during the attack, explaining that the Commander was mounted on a high-grade Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, which was temporarily immobilised in the heat of combat while he was actively coordinating the counter-assault.

Uba cautioned against some trending videos and reports, which he said are unrelated to the recent foiled terrorist attack on troops’ location in Benisheikh.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
