The Oluwo of Iwo land in Osun State Oba (king) Abdulrosheed Akanbi recent outfit to a recent event has triggered mixed reactions online.
The Oluwo of Iwo was among the prominent figures present at the 65th birthday reception dinner of former Oyo State First Lady Florence Ajimobi.
The Florence Ajimobi birthday reception took place on Friday night at Ikoyi and by extension was absolutely nothing but a star-studed one.
Those present at the glamorous birthday reception dinner include, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Odidika Uzodinma, his wife, Barrister Chioma Uzodinma, Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa.
Others include comedian Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st, MD Parallex bank, Mayor Femi Bakare (the father of BBNaija Tobi Bakre), Oba Ghandi Olaoye the Soun of Ogbomoso land, the first lady of Ogun State – Mrs Bamidele Abiodun,former first Lady of Ogun State – Mrs Bolanle Patience Ambode, Former First Lady of Lagos State – Mrs Bisi Adeleye Fayemi, former first lady of Osun Sttae – Sherifat Aregbesola.
However, one of the major highlights from the birthday reception dinner was the moment Oluwo of Iwo enter’s the reception.
While many expected him to dress like the Soun of Ogbomosho land, the Oluwo of Iwo was contrary as he was seen in a black suit accompanied by a black hat.
The dressing of Oluwo of Iwo did not sit down well with many social media users as they drag his outfit stressing that his dressing is not a representation of royal king in Yoruba land.
