The Presidential Villa is ready for its new chief occupant, President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu—Ahmad

The president of Nigeria, His Excellency Buhari, will be vacating the number one seat of the country when the former governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was declared winner of the February 25 poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will be sworn in on the 29th of May, 2023.

In regards to the swearing-in of Tinubu, the 29th of May has been declared a public holiday, and in recent times, there have been reports that President Buhari has toured around the presidential villa with his successor, and his vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, has also toured with Kashim Shettima in the Vila. Bashir Ahmad, who is Special Assistant on Digital Communications to the President, has revealed on his official Twitter handle that “the Presidential Villa is ready for its new chief occupant, President-elect Tinubu”. He made this statement alongside a picture of the villa.
